Telegram is the primary chat platform currently in use by Vancoufur. It is used for communication and discussion between executives, departments, and staff.

Groups

The three primary groups in use by Vancoufur are Executive, Leadership, and All Staff.

Executive

The Executive group is for discussion and resolution of Executive-level issues.

People in this group

  • Chair
  • Vice-Chair
  • Administrative Team
  • Executive Leads
  • Board of Directors

Leadership

The Leadership group is for discussion of inter-departmental issues, communication on important projects, and general convention-related chatter.

  • All members of the Executive Group
  • Department Leads
  • Department Seconds

All Staff

The All Staff group is for general chat and socialization between all members of staff.

Adding New Staff

When adding new staff to Telegram, follow hiring procedures.

  1. Notify Executive or Administrative Team
  2. Provide Name, Department, Position
